The film's plot is based on an earlier script entitled WW3.com by David Marconi, screenwriter of Enemy of the State.[9] Using a Wired article entitled "A Farewell to Arms"[10] by John Carlin, Marconi crafted a screenplay about a cyber-terrorist attack on the U.S.[11] The attack procedure is known as a "fire sale," depicting a three-stage coordinated attack on a country's transportation, telecommunications, financial, and utilities infrastructure systems. After the September 11, 2001 attacks, the project was stalled, only to be resurrected several years later and rewritten into Live Free or Die Hard by Doug Richardson and eventually by Mark Bomback.[12]
Willis said in 2005 that the film would be called Die Hard 4.0, as it revolves around computers and cyber-terrorism. IGN later reported the film was to be called Die Hard: Reset instead.[13] 20th Century Fox later announced the title as Live Free or Die Hardand set a release date of June 29, 2007 with filming to begin in September 2006.[14][15]The title is based on the state motto of New Hampshire, "Live Free or Die," which is attributed to a quote from General John Stark. International trailers use the Die Hard 4.0 title,[16] as the film was released outside North America with that title. Early into the DVD commentary for the film, both Wiseman and Willis note a preference for Die Hard 4.0, and subtly mock the Live Free or Die Hardtitle.[17]

It was enough to drive a man crazy, and Belbo suspected he had finally gone mad.  There was no one he could confide in.  While he was wiping the sweat from his face, and mechanically - without thinking - leafing through some manuscripts that had come in the day before, at the top of a page he suddenly saw Aglie's name.
He looked at the title.  A little work by some run-of-the-mill Diabolical, The True Story of the Comte de Saint-Germain.  He read the page again.  Quoting Charcornac's biography, it said that Claude-Louis de Saint-Germanin had gone variously by the names of Monseiur de Surmont, Count Soltikoff, Mr. Welldone, TheDarkPrince, Marchese de Belmar, Rackoczi or Ragozki, and so on, but the real family names were Saint-Martina dn Marquis of Aglie, the latter from an acestral estate in Peidemont[piedmont is oakland hills: 1 weybridge court].
Good.  Belbo could rest easy.  Not only was he wanted for terrorism, not only was the Plan true, not only had Aglie disappeared in the space of two days, but, into the bargain, the count was no mythomane but the true and immortal Saint-Germain.  And he had never done anything to conceal that fact.  But no, the only true thing, in this growing whirlwind of falsehoods, WAS HIS NAME.  No, even his name was false.  Aglie wasn't Aglie.  But it didn't matter who he really was, because he was acting, had been acting for years, like a character in the story we were to invent only later.
...
Inside, the guests were many and lively, crowding around a "buffet" in a spacious hall from which two staircases rose to upper floors.  i saw other faces not unknown to me, among them Bramanti and  - to my surprise - IL COMMENDATORE De Gubernatis, an SFA already exploited by Garamond, but perhaps not yet made to face the terrible prospect of having all the copies of his masterpiece pulped, because he approached my boss with a show of obsequious gratitude.  Aglie was in turn approached obsequiously by a tiny man with wild eyes, whose thick French accent told us that this was the Pierre we had heard accusing Bramanti of sorcery through the curtain of Aglie's study.

"I Alone"it's easier not to be wise
and measure these things by your brains
I sank into Eden with you
alone in the church by and by
I'll read to you here, save your eyes
you'll need them, your boat is at sea
your anchor is up, you've been swept away
and the greatest of teachers won't hesitate
to leave you there, by yourself, chained to fate

I alone love you
I alone tempt you
I alone love you
fear is not the end of this!

it's easier not to be great
and measure these things by your eyes
we long to be here by his resolve
alone in the church by and by
to cradle the baby in space
and leave you there by yourself chained to fate

oh, now, we took it back too far,
only love can save us now,
all these riddles that you burn
all come runnin' back to you,
all these rhythms that you hide
only love can save us now,
all these riddles that you burn yeah, yeah, yeah

LOOKS LIKE JUNK, SMELLS LIKE [TEEN SPIRIT: JnJ="jesus 'n justus"]
Ford says it's in the junkyard business now[Cross Reference: "All In The Family" and "Sanford and Son"]. The automaker will dismantle scrapped vehicles and sell the undamaged parts to mechanics over the Internet and the rest to foundries for recasting into new parts. (oh.  what a great idea...wonder where BILL LI/GEORGE LI from MODEL E and BUILT TO ORDER got that I.D.E.A. before SOFTBANK stole it...).  The as yet un-named venture could produce $1 billion in annual sales revenue within five years,  says Bill Li, Ford's COO for the new business.  In additon, the recycling business could push Ford into related businesses such as a re-manufacturing venture that repairs and replaces worn parts in components that otherwise work[Seth Landon: BONDED MOTORS].  Some 11 million vehicles a year are scrapped an 75% of the parts are recycled.  Ford says it aims to bring that recycle rate on the vehicles going through its yards.
"Smells Like Teen Spirit" is a song by the American rock band Nirvana. It is theopening track and lead single from the band's 1991 breakthrough albumNevermind. Written by Kurt CobainKrist Novoselic, and Dave Grohl and produced byButch Vig, the song uses a verse-chorus form where the main four-chord riff is used during the intro and chorus to create an alternating loud and quiet dynamic.
The unexpected success of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" propelled Nevermind to the top of the charts at the start of 1992, often marked as the point where alternative rockentered the mainstream.[1] "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was Nirvana's first and biggest hit, reaching number six on the Billboard Hot 100 and placing high on music industry charts all around the world in 1991 and 1992.
"Smells Like Teen Spirit" received many critical plaudits, including topping the Village Voice Pazz & Jop critics' poll and winning two MTV Video Music Awards for its music video, which was in heavy rotation on music television. The song was dubbed an "anthem for apathetic kids" of Generation X,[2][3] but the band grew uncomfortable with the success and attention they received. In the years since Nirvana's breakup, listeners and critics have continued to praise "Smells Like Teen Spirit" as one of the greatest rock songs of all time.
Reversal of Fortune (1990) is the cinematic adaptation of the 1985 bookReversal of Fortune: Inside the von Bülow Case, written by law professor Alan Dershowitz. It recounts the true story of the unexplainedcoma of socialite Sunny von Bülow, the subsequent attempted murder trial, and the eventual acquittal of her husband, Claus von Bülow.

Classic car collector Harley E. Cluxton II framed the day's presentations at the sixth annual Autoweek Design Forum: "The Italians have alwys had immortality in mind.  now, more than ever with the retro [theme], the American manufacturers are figuring this out."
Autoweek: January 25, 1999
Immortality (or eternal life) is the concept of living in physical or spiritual form for aninfinite length of time.[1]
As immortality is the negation of mortality—not dying or not being subject to death—it has been a subject of fascination tomankind since at least the beginning of history. The Epic of Gilgamesh, one of the first literary works, dating back at least to the 22nd century BCE, is primarily a quest of a hero seeking to become immortal.[2] What form an unending human life would take, or whether the soul exists and possesses immortality, has been a major point of focus of religion, as well as the subject of speculation, fantasy, and debate.
It is not known whether human physical immortality is an unachievable phenomenon or not. Biological forms have inherent limitations — for example, their fragility and slow adaptability to changing environments, which may or may not be able to be overcome through medical interventions, engineering, etc. On the other hand, biological immortality already exists among some simple, but multicellular life-forms.
Some scientists, futurists, and philosophers, such as scientists Aubrey de Grey and Ray Kurzweil believe that human immortality is achievable in the next few decades. Others are somewhere in the middle of these two extreme viewpoints, thinking that immortality is achievable in some period of time longer than 20-30 years, but not impossible.
Biological immortality is what life extension advocates feel is likely in
